This wiki project is a way for teachers to share in a poetry project using the book Love that Dog by Sharon Creech. There are two levels of participation. Level One is where you add ideas, poems, etc from your students and join in the VoiceThread. Level Two is where you partner up with another teacher to share together.

I am writing curriculum for our new text (Deutsch Aktuell) and use the SmartBoard daily in the classroom. I would be interested in finding anyone interested in directly sharing resources, writing chapter lessons or brainstorming SmartBoard activities. I primarily teach German 2 and 3, and use the DA1 and DA2 texts.

The project is about creating lessons together. I will provide an opensource learning platform where teachers and students can work with.

The project is in a testfase with schools from Spain, Italy, France, Turkey and Belgium.

Next topic will be: LLT about Paris, France

Start: 16:00

The Multilingual video project allows teachers to bring their own children to narrate the same video in their own language and for it to be placed on the Internet. The project will interweave, languages and technology to motivate and engage children. Children will be able to view the different language versions of the video and understand the words in different languages.

Since it is "that time of year," I think a great way to introduce kids to the concept of collaboration is to share first day of school experiences around the country and around the globe. My first thought was to do Animoto videos, but I am sure there are many other great ways to connect. Ultimately, it would be great to create a web site or wiki with all of our experiences in one place. I would foresee us talking about traditions, fears, hopes, etc. I think staying with the ages of around 7-11 would be best. This could be a really excellent project!
