Hello from sunny San Diego Ben and Joan,
I am so happy to know that your voices will soon be in my head again. They are some of the best voices in there. They are always entertaining, and usually insightful, which is more than I can say for some of the other voices in my head.
I was listening to back episodes, and was especially intrigued by podcast #129 on video game learning. I am all for using games in the classroom. Many of the most effective and engaging lessons in my classroom involve games, both on the computer and off. It was nice to be validated by an expert, especially as I am in the midst of creating a set of phonics Jeopardy! games with my first graders in notebook thanks to a template created by J. Migliori and D. Owen.
